Salem Oregon Horse Property: Flooding 2012 Salem Oregon Photos

Flooding 2012 Salem Oregon Photos

Our Marion County, along with 3 others, have been declared a State of Emergency today.  I took a few photos this afternoon in South Salem and Turner areas of Oregon.  In Salem, we have had about 5 inches of rain in 2 days.  It finally stopped this afternoon, we are on a 6 hour break.  We are expecting rain for at least the next 7 days.  My family is fine, we live on top of a hill, but many homes are under water.  If anyone is in need of help, I have a truck I can pick people/pets up and deliver you to your destination.

Wow, that is crazy. And meanwhile down in Sacramento we are seeing our first rain fall of any sort since the middle of November.

Catherine, kind of you to offer evacuation services, I hope that won't be required.  Take care and don't drive off in deep water!

Howdy and evening Catherine

Catherine my friend, I'm sure sorry to hear y'all have flooding going on there in your area! That sure is mighty kind of you to offer to give a helping hand to folks there. Last Spring we had some mighty bad flooding.

Have a good one

Thank you Joni.

Luckily, today is dry.  The waters have receeded.
